Successful customer webinars on Microsoft Teams: detailed training on the impact of trade fair stands

In a comprehensive and successful webinar on Microsoft Teams, we trained over 200 consultants from one of our clients on the benefits and effective design of exhibition stands. This webinar not only provided theoretical insights, but also hands-on demonstrations that helped our client's employees understand and implement the best strategies for their trade show appearances.

Advantages of modular stand construction

During the training, we vividly presented the impressive benefits of modular stand construction. Using two carefully prepared scenarios, we were able to impressively demonstrate the flexible and adaptable nature of this construction method.

For this reason, we had our experts set up two ideal presentation scenarios in the ultra-modern Service Hub of WWM GmbH & Co. KG to set up two ideal presentation platforms. A particular highlight was our first-class camera equipment and advanced mixing consoles. These enabled seamless transitions between overall shots and detailed shots, giving viewers both a comprehensive overview and targeted insights into specific focus products.



Internal training and practical experience

In the run-up to our customer webinar, we took the opportunity to hold an exclusive internal training course for our project management and marketing staff. This allowed our employees to gain valuable experience through the practical implementation of the innovative exhibition stand construction systems and significantly expand their skills in the planning and design of exhibition stands. This intensive training strengthens our team and increases our competence to realize future projects with even greater success.


Scenario 1: The minimalist approach

  • Design: A simple, clearly structured stand with few but concise elements.

  • Components: A few selected modules, discreet lighting, clear lines and sufficient open areas. Combined with inviting pieces of furniture, reclining chairs and selected technology products such as a 50-inch landscape stele with touch function.

  • Effect: A minimalist but colorful exhibition stand with digital products for interaction and play offers a perfect balance between clarity and conspicuousness. It attracts visitors, keeps them at the stand for longer and leaves a lasting impression.

  • Attention: The stand specifically draws attention to the key products and messages. Visitors can orient themselves better and are not distracted by excessive visual stimuli.

  • Professional and modern: A minimalist stand conveys professionalism and modernity, which is particularly advantageous for high-tech products and services. A young audience is attracted by the selected technology, interaction and cheerful colors.

Scenario 2: The comprehensive approach

  • Design: A richly equipped stand with many interactive and visual elements.

  • Components: Multiple modules, eye-catching lighting, various displays and interactive stations.

  • Impact: A larger stand that offers both a booth and a wide range of digital interaction options is an ideal platform for an effective and sustainable presentation. The combination of private space for intensive discussions and modern, interactive technologies creates a dynamic and inviting environment.

  • Diversity: A rich stand can offer a variety of information and experiences, which is particularly beneficial for product demonstrations and complex services.

  • Overwhelm: However, there is a risk of overwhelming visitors and losing the core message of the stand. Therefore, not everything available for interaction should be used at once, even at a larger stand. Here, the participants were taught how to use products in a targeted manner.


Finding the right balance

A key point of the training was to find the right balance between minimalism and overload. Too many booked components can make an exhibition stand look cluttered and confusing. A balanced design that is visually appealing and functional achieves the best effect and ensures that the messages are clearly conveyed to the audience.

Technology products for an optimal trade fair presentation

To maximize the usability and attractiveness of our trade fair stands, we rely on a variety of innovative technology products that increase interactivity and interest among visitors.Here are the highlights:

A TV set provides a good screen for promotional videos, product demonstrations and digital content that is clearly visible from a distance and attracts visitors. Tablets in 10.5 inches enable flexible and mobile interactive presentations, and their ease of use makes them perfect for face-to-face meetings and collecting visitor information.

VR glasses can be used to display virtual product demonstrations and immersive experiences that encourage deep visitor engagement. At HR trade fairs in particular, 360° videos can be used to impressively present future workplaces. Touchable large-format TVs offer interactive information displays and product presentations on a large, vertical touch surface that enables intuitive interaction - ideally complemented by retro mini-games, as described in our METAPILOTS blog post. The 27-inch media display at viewing height on a stand is ideal for static presentations and the continuous display of information.

Game consoles and mini-games provide entertainment and engagement, especially for younger visitors, and encourage longer stand visits. These playful elements increase engagement both before and after the show.

Modular LED displays such as Pixlip Go and Pixlip Pop offer eye-catching and engaging presentations. Their bright colors and flexible, easy handling ensure high visibility and quick set-up.
